New Release: Epilogue by Mental Overdrive

Mental Overdrive  is the moniker Norwegian artist and producer Per Martinsen has released most of his electronic music output under, from early industrial techno through legendary Belgian techno label R&S Records back in 1990, through a variation of dancefloor friendly beats on imprints such as Smalltown Supersound, Discfunction, Full Pupp, Ploink, Music Man and his own Love OD Communications. 
He is also known for his collaborations with other artists and composers. In addition he has written a number of film scores and worked with projects exploring other areas of the arts through a multitude of mediums. 

The new album Epilogue by Mental Overdrive will be released through Prins Thomas’ label Rett i Fletta on 27 October 2017, followed by a string of live shows throughout 2018.

CENTRALE for contemporary art and OVERTOON, Brussels platform for sound art, kindly invite you for the round table event Sound in Visual Art. 

An international panel of experts will gather to debate sound in visual art. Over the recent years we have observed a revived dynamic in the role of sound throughout a variety of visual art work. In the course of an afternoon we want to take a closer look at this hybrid field with interventions by curators and artists who have affinities with the dimension of sound in art. 

The round table is an event in the context of the exhibition Où sont les sons? Where Are Sounds? curated by Nicole Gingras, with the support of Kunstenpunt.
